The majority of the crew came from, or lived in, Southampton, with 714 giving Southampton addresses (only 192 of them were not from Southampton), 538 of these were lost, just 176 saved.
115 crew members had close connections to Liverpool, of whom only 28 survived.

None survived, these were the men who ensured Titanic had power to the very last moment that they possibly could, without their brave sacrifice, Titanic would have been plunged into darkness and would have been powerless a lot earlier int he night, which would have sent passengers into panic in the dark, silent night of the 14th.
